You need to step back a little bit.

Your hardware is 64 bit hardware so go for the AMD which is 64 bit.

What is this card you are using, some think it is internal others think it is usb. Can you clarify things for us please.

Don't burn the alternate CD, unless yoru hardware is old it isn't worth doing. Burn the LiveCD off the website link.

I was able to install 12.04 from the home page by just turning of the modestep or w/e it is. now coming live from my computer with wireless! If i had an easy button right now I'd slap it.
