Firewalls and Anti-Virus?


Where can i get some firewall and anti-virus software? free or not!

Your distro should have firewalls and antivirus available. I'm not familiar with Suse, but common gui interfaces for firewalls are shorewall, guarddog, and firestarter. Common AntiVirus are AVG, F-Prot, and Clam AV.

The only linux parental control that I'm aware of is Dan's Guardian. Not sure if it's available as a package for Suse and I think you have to set up a proxy server to make it work. Google it and see what you can make out of it. My daughter is only 18 months, so I have a couple years before I have to figure that stuff out...
