Thanks for the advise thus far. I'm trying, I'm just a little overambitious at the moment because I was using a pirated Windows OS and if I entered even a MSNBC local online television news site I received a spybug. So, I'm just not in the mood yet to learn a new computer language; especially as unexpected as this appeared.

What are you talking about,what new computer language?Every computer knows just one language-Binary.Almost all the answers you need to start using Ubuntu are in this thread,besides that you got lots of forums out there to help you when you will be in the mood to learn.Don't let that all the answers here that were addressed to you go in nothingness.
