firefox URL editing
I use mozilla and firefox. I was wondering if there is a way to edit the entrys
in the drop down box where the url's are displayed. I think one can be added by typing in some new URL, but how to delete one. my guess is the is a file somewhere. But where |
Well, I don't know about deleting just a single URL, but suspect that if you want to dump the lot, then it appears to be a case of using Edit>Preferences>Privacy and then clearing the cache, history, cookies, etc etc.
At least I'm presuming that thats what you're after doing ??? regards John |
thanks got it
didnt try it but that should work.
Then i could just retype the ones i want in there (LQ , news.com, ect....) kind of like book marks. |
Well you'd have to have a play, cos if you put the ones you want in the book marks, one of the options should then allow you to dump the rest. So that you can still get your Favs' from the book marks options (personally I prefer using Opera over firefox, but the principle is the same).
