Firefox problem
 

Hi All,
I am stuggling from last 2 weeks in browsing internet i.e the firefox is automatically redirecting itself to unknown url(s) whenever I have logged in to such gmail, yahoo, webmail, and even linuxquestions.org. Don't know why. So could you please give some suggestions to prevent this.

probably you need to check your add-ons and plugins

What type of URLs? Blank ones? Legitimate looking ones? Ones which try to get you to download something?
If not plugins then my guess would be that you're unknowingly selecting a link on the page and going to it, probably with a keyboard or mouse shortcut you don't know about or catching a touchpad with your wrist.

The problem solved after clicking on "Restart with Add-ons Disabled" from "Help" option in firefox window.

That's not really 'solved' just narrowed down.

Now you know it is most likely an extension causing the problem, the question is which one.
