firefox installation errors


when i am installing firefox 3,i got this error

Obviously you need to install a newer version of Pango. There's some info about pkg-config here. To set the environment variable you do "export PKG_CONFIG_PATH=$PKG_CONFIG_PATH:/new/directories/to/add"
