I don't think it's a graphic's card/driver problem since the things which require graphics cards/drivers work fine. Also, not really having any overheating problems. Checked core temp, it's at 84 F.

Both pcs? And mine is in a cold room... by cold room i mean a basement concrete room with a vent and the pc is fanned. The graphic card also doesn't get "that much" of a work out. In fact no more graphical usage then it takes to load this very page. ( which also gets errors right now.) I promise you this is NOT a hardware issue.

[64 bit] Firefox 4 64bit flash - Page 2 - Ubuntu Forums - http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1703027&page=2

Flash-Aid :: Add-ons for Firefox - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...don/flash-aid/

Chrome uses its own built-in version of flash so if it is also having issues then there is something more wrong than just flash not working.

Perhaps at some point I thought that this was a flash issue. Currently I believe it lies somewhere in my settings, since reinstalling flash and firefox completely did absolutely nothing, renaming directories did just as much, and google chrome has all the same issues. It's on games on facebook such as "Friends for Sale" and "Mouse Hunt", neither of which are actually flash based. In fact, everything that is flash based works perfectly. Even if I can't see it, I can still hear it.

... Looks like facebook fixed itself. Mind you, no flash updates were released, so this was a facebook thing, not a flash thing. Anyways, situation resolved for me, dunno if that applies to the rest of you. Never found out what was wrong, just know where the issue lies now. Future people's beware: facebook is teh glitches.

Edit: I am still curious to know what exactly happened. Any theories are more than welcome?

Edit II: So I looked in the error console, and all the same errors are still popping up on the same pages. Seriously starting to weird me out, but this makes me think that nothing is actually fixed, it's just now it "looks nice". Anyone have a lead on what might be going on here?

How to fix the problem......

Stop playing silly games on Fb, go outside and go for a nice walk. Read a book. Learn something new, like how to cook some strange new dish, or something like bash scripting, python, perl etc. Take your spouse/significant other out on a date. Visit a museum or art gallery. Go volunteer at a homeless shelter, visit a retirement home. Turn off the computer and be happy.

Life is about more than Facebook and Twitter.

Alright, well I'm not going to flame you, but the short version is that I was trying to take care of this before deploying. Thanks.

Edit: Also, in all seriousness, I would like to get this taken care of as soon as possible. Facebook is not the only thing generating alarming number of errors on the console. If requested, I will post as many of them as I have time to copy down, otherwise the general message is that a quite ridiculous number of errors are generated any time that I go to a site with any web content on it. Facebook appears to be the most heavily affected, but I'm sure that other sites will probably fall sooner or later. Also, I mentioned nothing about twitter, so please don't call me names just because I like having a way to connect with friends while away from home.

Is this what YOU call help? I call it being rude and petty for no reason. He asked for help because he is getting errors and your written attack was uncalled for. Facebook was the best way to explain the effects the errors are having on his system ( and my own). Is it really wrong for a guy about to deploy to want a way to relax with his soon to be wife? It is bad enough he is leaving me but to have someone say such things without knowing how hard working he is.... You know what.. I'm pissed off. If you couldn't help and had nothing useful to say you should have said nothing at all. Facebook is just a means to relax AFTER a busy day of being outside, or at the hospital, or working on base, or any number of NON pc related things.

To OTHER people reading and willing to help:
The errors are still appearing much the same, even for Linuxquestions. If you have any idea what might be causing them We'd be grateful for the help. I'm going to miss him for the months he is gone so any way we can get things fixed so I can still talk to him.. I'll be thankful.
If you need more screen shots of the errors please let us know and we can log some websites and the errors that come up on them.

Good Night,
Kaji

Erm... yes thank you dear...

As an update, I have found one site that it doesn't do the massive errors on: normal google. This might be a starting point, though keep in mind that when I do a search, the errors reappear.

I'm headed to sleep, hopefully see you all later.

If you get these errors even on LQ then I really doubt that they are related to Flash, since LQ doesn't use Flash.
Please post some of the error messages you get. Also, if you think it might be a problem with your settings, close all browser instances and then rename your settings folder:
Code:
mv ~/.mozilla ~/mozilla.backup
After that try it again, if it now works without errors we know that is either a setting or a plugin that causes the errors.

So... despite changing my directory name back to just mozilla, I can't get my bookmarks and things back. Also, I will post a "few" of the error messages that came up. We'll say the twenty five at the top, since my time is limited and it doesn't appear I can just copy paste.

I hope that this helps give some idea of the extent of this problem. If you need examples other than just gmail, I'll get them to you at some other point when I come back tonight.

Renaming doesn't fix it. Here are some of the errors just from reloading this page.

Security Error: Content at http://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/ may not load data from http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...595/page2.html.

Security Error: Content at http://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/ may not load data from http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...eply&p=4374804.

Security errors seem to be the only ones coming up right now.. but it's been changing itself a lot. I'll keep you posted from my end.. And thank you Tobi.

Seems to me that you have either a plugin or a security setting that warns you when a site loads content from a third party server. In case of the LQ pages you mentioned these security Errors are simply warning you that LQ runs ads from the Google Ads service (which are necessary for LQ to survive). That is not really an error (at least in this case), but a warning.

This is the error list from bottom to top about one quarter the way up after loading one page on a game called "Friends for Sale" on facebook, once, no reloading. I hope this gives a better idea of what's going on?

Edit: I noticed that the security errors came from this site, not facebook, despite having reloaded that page and left this page alone.
