Welcome to LQ

Please post the commands you are using, and the error messages.
Where did you saved the file?

Are you sure the file is where you think it is?

Kind regards

First cd to the desktop
Code:
cd /home/user/Desktop
or give the whole path
Code:
mv /home/user/Desktop/filename
Please note the capital D in Desktop
AFAIK the filename is
Code:
firefox.xxx.xx
Which file did you downloaded?

Kind regards

Can you explain what you did (what command(s) you used) to download Firefox 6. Do you remember the name of the file? I doubt that it was called "mozilla". Did you get the file from the Mozilla website? or did you get it with your package manager?
ciao,
jdk

You need to untar the file first.
However, take a look at
http://www.if-not-true-then-false.co...x-6-on-fedora/
howto install firefox 6 in fedora.

Kind regards
