firefox 3 problem with plugins
I have fedora 9, kde 4 and firefox 3 (all for i386 architecture). I have a problem with plugins in firefox (almost all of them, except adobe). When I turn on my computer no plugins are working (except adobe). When typing about:plugins it shows only adobe reader plugin. I've found out, that installing nspluginwrapper and restarting firefox fixes the problem - all plugins work and about:plugins shows all installed plugins. The problem is that when I reboot the problem is back. The solution is to... remove nspluginwrapper :/ Then after restarting firefox it works. But ofcourse when I reboot the problem is back :(
So every time I reboot I have to remove/install nspluginwrapper to fix it. Do you have any idea what's going on? |
hi
until you get a better reply, have you tested plugins with KDE 3? as I suspect kde 4 is still buggy. 2) how are you running firefox? as unpacked in home directory or installed system wide? How many other users are using your unpack? |
No, I haven't try yet plugins from KDE3. Yes, I can see that kde4 is buggy :)
Firefox is installed system-wide, though I am the only user on this machine. |
