finding screen resolution in xfce

Dear members, I have been using Debian Etch and Ubuntu with gnome desktop. Currently I dowonloaded Sidux with xfce. I cannot find out what is my current screen resloution. In the settings menu of screen resolution there is one option default. But I don't know what default uses. There is as such no problem. I can play movies etc. Xorg.conf does not give any information about the modes. In Ubuntu and Etch it is easy to know the current screen resolution. Thank you advance.

Type in a terminal:
Code:

xdpyinfo|grep resolution
This command works with every distribution including an X server.
