Post Find joomla


Hi,

Can u please tell me how can i find the Joomla site which are running on the server. We have shared hosting and i don't know how many customer are using joomla. My manger has given the task to find out the number of customer who is using Joomla using script.

I am able to find the Word press user because in that there is file wp-config which is common.

Please help in how can i write the script for same

You can search for the configuration.php file.

The configuration.php file is located in the root of the joomla installation.

Again, we will ask you to spell out your words. And if it's shared hosting, call your hosting provider and ask them, since they will have probably set things up for you. If not, you can run "find / -name configuration.php" as root and find the file. Read the man page on the find command.

Also, based on what you've posted thus far, if you are being tasked as the Linux administrator for your company, you should ask your employer to provide some books/training materials/classes to get you up to speed.
