Finally am able to dual boot into windows AND PClinuxOS

I can finally boot into both operating systems.

How do I install the packages? I tried in install a sound one and just got the upgrades couldn't be found.

Also, what about wine? I would love to install it so I can see my windows applications? What are your suggestions?

welcome to LQ!!

First, please stay away from the big, bold, font. I had to turn the volume on my speakers all the way down....

Package manager: Assuming that your Internet connection is working, check to see that at least one repository is enabled. Here is the one I am using:
http://spout.ussg.indiana.edu/linux/...pclinuxos/apt/

In Synaptic: Settings ---> Repositories.

WINE: Is available in the package manager, although it is not the very latest. You have to install WINE first, then install Windows apps.
You might also want to look at Crossover (http://www.codeweavers.com/). This is the commercial port of WINE.
