File sharing


Hi,

I have installed the Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.0 (Santiago) version its arch is i686 which is installed in the vm player and the host operating system is Windows 7 32 bit. I want to copy the files from windows 7 to redhat? how?

Please help.

Which VM are you using? These instructions work for VMware, I'm sure similar ones exist for whichever VM you're using - just use google.

you can use WinSCP to transfer files from Windows to Linux using SSH.
