File Server - File system? Samba SUSE9

I have been using Fat32 as a file system for the file server at work (for 1 year) and I want to use a linux file system now as was recomended from the start :)

Is ext3 ok?

more than okay. i have been using it for a while and no problems so far.....after all u are on a linux system..lol
