file locations and version numbers


When I installed FC3 I selected "everything" but how do I find the file location and version number of all the modules that where installed ?

The should be in /lib/modules/`uname -r`/

If you don't know your kernel version issue "uname -r" to find out.

I guess it depends on what you mean when you say modules;
If it's the kernel Chinaman is correct. If you mean ANY program
you installed, you'll have to take two steps

rpm -qa
(will give you the installed progs with version)

rpm -ql `rpm -qa`
will give you all file-locations for all programs.
