file data not readable


I have a file which when I cat it it show correct but when I open it its wrong list of number
so is there any way to I correct the file?
is it a way the after I cat the file save the result in an other file?

cat have_a_file > readablefile
OK

If you transferred file from windows, check "dos2unix" command.

What type (format) of the file you have?
