file concatnation in unix


Hi friends,

I am having two files A & B
file A contains following data:
Yash
Hary
Sam


file B contains following data:
23
45
67

I want my output file should look like following:
Yash 23
Hary 45
Sam 67

Is this possible using cat command or we have to use some scripting technique.
please help me out.

Try paste - see man paste

Something like

paste -d " " A B
