ffmpeg and lib problems

Hello,

For the first time i have decided to install most 3-party libraries on a separate drive. /3opt

Now, i have compiled and installed the following packages in that drive.

lame
libogg
libtheora
faad
faac
xvid

all with prefix=/3opt

I have also changed my ld.so.conf to include /3opt/lib

However, here is my problem.

when trying to compile ffmpeg i have options to enable all of the above. However, it does not allow me to set -includes, -prefix, -libs for the libraries/headers.

Is there another file i need to edit or maybe CFLAGS that i need to set so that they will link?

thanks
