fetchmail stuck during retrieval of mails ...

I am trying to configure my fetchmail in order to retrieve my mail for the external mail server to my local mailbox.

[vincent@sun vincent]$ fetchmail -c
fetchmail: suppression de l'ancien fichier verrou
1 message pour vincent@xxxxx.be dans mail.xxxxx.be (953 octets).
1 message (1 seen) for yyyyyyy dans pop.skynet.be (16394 octets).
[vincent@sun vincent]$

This is correct. This also means that the .fetchmailrc file is correct too.

But when I try to retrieve the messages in my local mailbox at /var/mail/vincent I got nothing. It seems fetchmail is stuck when trying to retrieving mail from the external POP server.

Any idea on where I should look at to solve this.

The problem came simply from an alias definition.
