fetchmail-ssl: how to configure?

I've got a simple question: I've just installed fetchmail-ssl and I'm wondering what's the difference between fetchmail and fetchmail-ssl (when configuring)
What has my .fetchmailrc have to look like to establish a secure connection to a pop3 server? I've only found examples for non-secure connections and connections through a previously established ssl-tunnel, but I think there must be a simpler solution using fetchmail-ssl...?

Couldn't find any decent HOWTO, try this: http://bronski.net/howto/fetchmail.php?lang=eng
