FedoraCore5 :Terminal Colour setting.
 
Hey,how do i change the colour of fronts and background for my Terminal? My current terminal setting (front-black) ,(background-white). I would like to change it into (front-green),(background-black).

Sorry, I don understand the link you gave me. I'm using Fedora core 5 Terminal. Can you tell me what command i should use to change the terminal colour?

If you type man followed by a command into the terminal it will bring up the the man page for the command, explaining what it does. The second link in the google search listed is the man page for setterm. It looks like setterm -background [color] sets the background to the color listed, and similar for setterm -foreground [color]

What terminal are you using? They way to do it differs depending on which one you are using.

Examples are XTerm, Konsole, gnome-terminal etc...

nice

konsole (KDE's default terminal) has preset schema's (and after picking the one you want you need to save as default).
