Hello all,

i have a problem with my webserver, now .. there might be a easy solution to it.

I have the standard webserver running in Fedora Core 4 ( httpd )
Now i want to change my default website dir ( /var/www/html ) to /srv/www/ how can this be done?

Another question;
i want tu upload a website to my webserver.. i want to upload it to my (new) /srv/www dir.. how can this be done?

Within the directives options of your httpd.conf, there should be a directory setup specifying where your files are located. Simply change this from /var/www/html to /srv/www . As for uploading to the new directory, within your FTP program, you simply connect straight to /srv/www (most FTP clients let you specifiy a remote path), or change into that directory once connected and then upload your files as normal.
