Fedora - Video Mode Not Supported
I downloaded and installed Red Hat Fedora and performed the graphical install. During the install process it could not detect my monitor type so I selected a monitor that was similar to mine and changed the HorizSync and VertRefresh rates to reflect my monitors capabilities.
After the installation was completed and the system rebooted I received the "Video Mode Not Supported" message. I am not sure if this message was caused by my monitor not being detected properly or my video card which is a NVIDIA TNT2 video card. Any help that could be provided to help me get up and running would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Chuck |
What does the bottom half of your /etc/X11/xorg.conf or XF86config say?
|
What is it?
a) Fedora Core 1, b) Fedora Core 2, c) Fedora Core 3. It really helps if you tell more about your system |
