What is the best cpu to run Fedora on? Will it work with an Intel Xeon.

but to add
anything that is NOT an IBM ppc

but i WOULD NOT install fedora 16 on a server
the life span is WAY WAY WAY too short
only 13 months

i would install RHEL 6 or CentOS 6 or ScientificLinux 6 o a server with a Xeon CPU

Depends what the server is for - for work, nope. Tried it, too much hassle. Gradually switched to CentOS. But I do use Fedora on my home server and for that, it's fine. I've yet to have had a "pre-upgrade" upgrade fail and this is from Fedora 8 through to 16. Win.
