Fedora installation problems
I seem to be having all sorts of installation problems.
First, I do the check of disk 1 and the computer crashes. If I do the check on another computer, it seems to be ok and the checksum was ok before I burned it. When I install, I get all the options, but when it goes to write it, it crashes with a note about a null pointer to the kernal along with some other machine code type things.
It's odd that the check works ok on one machine and not the other.
Any idea what could be wrong with the machine? I actually reformatted the hard drive so everything is clean. I had problems with upgrading to Windows XP a few years ago and had to return to 98 and brought XP back to the store.
I'm using a computer bought from Cybermax and the board is MS-6167.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
