Fedora Core 7 Live

Hi all,

I am a newbie here. I need help to uninstall Fedora Core Live 7 i386. I am trying to help a friend clear up hard drive space but I don't know how to help her uninstall it. Since the computer was given to her she does not have a password for Fedora and she prefers windows. Please advise.

I'm pretty sure windows will just install over it unless you tell it otherwise, although you'll have to tell it to reformat if it asks you.
The filesystem formats are incompatible.

There is no "uninstall" really. Pop in the Windows CD and boot in to the setup (blue screen), press F9 to agree to EULA (unless, well, you don't agree), select any/all partitions and hit "D" , "enter", "L". Then select the unpartitioned space, hit enter twice and it will setup a new partition. Select full NTFS format (not quick) when prompted.

I think that's it. Might have forgotten a step or two, but that's the idea.
