Unhappy Fedora Core 5 64 bit. Problem with mouse


I have installed Fedora Core 5.0 64 bit editin, and i am facing problem with mouse. My mouse is installed but i cannot see the cursor once i reach to the Login Screen. The cursor is seen till i reach the login screen.
I am new to linux and dont know much about it. So if anyone could help please do it.

Tab through the login screen, log in, and see if you have a mouse then.
