fedora core 3-something against the cntrl button?
i got fedora core 3 finally working today and i absolutely love it.
except, its already had the mouse freeze 3 times and the last time required a hard reboot. and everytime, it was because i was holding down cntrl to select something or mess with firefox. now i havnt done the up2date stuff yet, but im working on it.(if you hold control and click on an object on the right format, you can enlarge or shrink it). and i was also trying to select multiple songs for playlist. both times, the moust(and just the mouse) froze up. anyone know why? |
please? someone have an answer?

I suggest that you run up2date or yum update. There has been a number of updates since the original FC3 was issued and, in my own case, all my problems were cured by udpating the installed software. Jan

In a terminal as root issue either up2date -u or yum -y update. Then maybe try mouseconfig followed by mouse-test
