fedora core 3 installation

dear frens
i and my group of friend are having great problem in installing fedora core 3. weall had the same problem during the installation and all the cds were procured from different places . so chance of a corrupt cd.aall have the same error . during installation from 2nd cd which has openoffice of size 600 mb suddenly installtion points out that thres an error and system reboots . if not the graphics become distorted or sometimes it shows memory dump.
is fedora core 3 still inits testing version. with so much problem i believe it is better to stick to fedora core 2 than switching to core 3

You can test your installations CD's before the full installation starts. In my opinion they are probably corrupt if the installation keeps failing at more or less the same point.

I know you said you burned the CDs in different areas, but still sounds like a bad disc to me, too. I've installed Fedora Core III several times without issue. If it's not a hardware problem, I'd do as the above poster suggested and test your CDs before going any further.
