i have a pixie monitor. the install gui works fine, but when it tries to start x it flickers once then is black. i can ctrl+alt+F2 to the text screen...but uh.. thats about all i can do. there is no pixie selection for the monitor configuration and i did try to change the horizontal sync. same problem. any help?
thanks
also, what graphics card do you have? if you have an nvidia or ati card and have not gotten the correct drivers for them, and then updated XF86Config (or xorg.conf if using the xorg server) this could be the cause.
I had the same issue when I installed fedora core 1. it was related to the video card driver. as long as I used a the default driver. when I loaded my new driver poof monitor pops up. Done deal.
