Unhappy fedora core 2 boot loader got deleted

I have dual OS on my system windows-xp and fedora core 2.
I formatted windows and boot loader got deleted so now on starting only windows booting option is being seen.
I tried to fiX the problem with resue disk but at the end it is saying that
"No kernel packages were installed on your system.Your boot loader configuration will not be changed".
Plzzzz help me and tell me now what to do to get the dual boot option.

at the end
#chroot /mnt/sysimage

if u were using grub with ur hdd as primary master to install grub on MBR
#grub-install /dev/hda
