Hi....
I have recently installed Fedora 9 on my laptop. While Installing , I keenly selected ALL PACKAGES and ALL OPTIONS in packages. I also Installed GNOME , KDE and XFCE.
But when I boot , it doesn't prompt me to choose Desktop for GNOME or KDE or XfCe on login screen. It directly boots into GNOME only. Anybody knows , how can I use KDE or XFCE without reinstalling Fedora?? (as KDE and XFCE and necessary packages are already installed.) Which file i need to modify so that it will prompt me to choose Desktops on login screen????
I can't recall exactly where the option is, but are you saying that you do know where to switch window managers and the kde/xfce options aren't there, or you can't see where to select which window manager to use?
hi billymayday..
thnx for quick reply...
here I don't know how to switch desktops...also one of my friend installed same fedora 9 with same options , but he can see OPTIONS to Choose desktop on his login screen. But I can't see it on my login screen.
I guess there must be some file which I can modify so that these options will appear. BUT I DONT KNOW WHICH FILE TO MODIFY
can you help ?
