Fedora 9 and Amarok issues

Hello all:

I am new to Linux therefore I apologize in advance for the question, which I am sure is quite simple.

After installing Amarok in my laptop -following the install of Fedora it was the first thing I added - when I click on "Places" with the intention of opening any of my folders (Documents, Pictures, etc.) Amarok starts and I no longer am able to open any of the folders.

If I close Amarok, and try another directory (under "Places"), the behaviour repeats just the same.

Any ideas? Help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Jorge
