Fedora 8 revalidation error


I just installed fedora 8 on my custom built computer. When i try to boot up it get the following error:

ata6.01:revalidation failed (errno=19)
ata6.01:revalidation failed (errno=19)

the error comes right before the system starts starting services. also, it hangs right after it starts /etc/fstab swaps.

Here are the specs for my computer:
motherboard - Asus A8N-SLI
Processor - AMD Athalon 64 X2 Dual Core 4200+
RAM - 1.5 GB PC3200
Video Card - ATI Radeon X1600
Network Card - Linksys Wireless-N WMP300N

Your cd/dvd device maybe(I think so) is not supported.
