Fedora 7 won't boot on dual boot WinXP/F7
Hi! Ok, I was able to get F7 and WinXP to work together on an old Gateway P2 PC.
But on this PC, I'm having the same problem as this guy: http://www.mail-archive.com/linux_ne.../msg03885.html Also, during installation on this box, I'm getting "...Invalid partition table -- wrong signature 0" errors when installing F7. I'm going to try to pass agp=off to the kernel upon booting (I had to do this when installing) to see if that helps. Any pointers to solve this problem will be greatly appreciated! |
Ok, the system booted after I added agp=off to the kernel parameters. Once in there I was able to configure X and start it with startx.
Now I need to add that agp=off parameter to grub, perhaps edit /boot/grub/grub.conf and add it there? |
