Fedora 7: mplayer, wmv, firefox

I have Fedora 7.

I downloaded mplayer, installed mplayerplug-in, win32 codecs via fedorasolved.org

and everytime I try and view a wmv file in firefox, all it does is buffer up to 100% and quit.

I press play, it says "getting playlist" and quits again

How do I get this thing to work? I've tried searching but I couldn't seem to get the right answer

Visit: http://rpm.pbone.net/
Search for: mplayer-codecs-20061022-1 and mplayer-codecs-extra-20061022-1

Download both i386 rpm's and install: rpm -Uvh mplayer-codecs*.rpm

Enjoy

Okay, issue has been resolved

thanks Lenard for helping

I actually had this same problem on Fedora 6, how convenient and I even made a thread about it

I searched under my name and found it, I removed and reinstalled mplayer, reinstalled the codec's and installed the Fedora Core 5 mplayerplug-in

it works flawlessly now
