Fedora 17, Unable to change Icon theme. Please help
I'm unable to change the icon theme on any of the users. I did also try running "gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface icon-theme fedora" with root & non-root.
I did find the following link. http://ask.fedoraproject.org/questio...-has-no-effect But I don't know where the "~/.icon" folder is, any helpful suggestions will be appreciated. |
~/ IS your home folder
on fedora for a normal user /home/YourUserName for root it is /root and "dot" files are hidden system files like on windows these are system files and not displayed by default |
To see the hidden files in file manager hit ctrl-h or the menu view->hidden files. You will then see the .icon folder if it exists. Using command line ls -a will show all the files.
