fedora 13


If I want to install Fedora 13,how big should the boot partition be ?

I'd say allow 100MB. If you use the search fn here at LQ, you should be able to dig up other options. Also see the Fedora specific Forum here.

100MB should be enough. If you want more, go for it. It all depends how much space you can spare, but for standard usage 100MB will be enough. AFAIR, Fedora keeps only the last 2 kernel versions, the rest gets deleted.

that depends on HOW you want to update fedora

100 meg is fine IF you DO NOT USE "preupgrade"
and do full 100% clean installs every 6 months.

if you DO WANT to use "preupgrade" the fedora doc's state you need a min of 800 meg in the /boot partition
