Smile Fedora 11 install

Hello Friends
I have downloaded fedora 11 version of Linux this morning and now I have the .iso file ready. But I am not able to move to the next step.
I mean Here are my questions.
1. How to install from that iso file?
2. If I have windows vista alrready in my partition, will this linux version delete all the files and the windows vista OS?
Finally, After this linux install, I need to install Websphere in Linux and so your help in this is really appreciated. Please advise

Welcome to LQ!!

First, use the .iso to burn a CD----be sure to use the "burn from iso" or "burn from image" option.

Then, simply boot from the CD, and follow instructions (Assuming it's a live CD, you'll first get a Linux desktop---then click on "Install" (or something similar.)

Normally, if Windows is already installed, it takes the whole disk---you'll first need to re-size the Windows partition. There are many tools for this, but I would get the GParted stand-alone CD.

The Fedora installer will give you the option of using the whole disk, or installing to specific partition(s).

Be sure to back up any important data before doing any of this.....

GParted is a Partition Utility that comes with many Linux distros---it is also available as a stand-alone bootable CD:
