fedora 10 problem with mobile gprs connection and root login
 
hi am using fedora 10 now.i have to configure my motorola phone as a modem.bkz i am using gsm/gprs based internet connection.my modem is not configuring for connection in dial up network.so plz help me to configure it for establishing connection.i also tried by kppp but it establish my connection.all ping also done.but in browser nothing happen.when i was using fedora8 their was no such problem.

Please spell out your words and write clearly...your question is hard to understand. What do you mean by "all ping also done"???

If you mean you CAN ping sites, but the browser doesn't work...what browser did you try? Is the browser offline? Can you do ANYTHING online (like check mail, etc.)??

You say "my modem is not configuring for connection", but then say "kppp establish my connection"...which is it? CAN you connect or not? What error(s) are you getting?

and to add root login in fedora 10 was disabled . When you start the "NetworkManager" configure tool there should be a pop up asking for your root password .
