similar problem with resolution.
i have a similar kind of a problem. I have an ASUS motherboard with onboard nvidia chip geforce 6150. I tried installing FC 10 - installation is fine , but after the installation , my 19" samsung LCD monitor , fails to display the proper resolution. recommended resolution is 1320 X something, but the displayed resolution is much less than that.
I tried using system-config-display , selected generic lcd type , and set the recommended resolution - restarted X , it however still fails. I believe I need to locate and download the proper drivers for 6150 , and i am in the process of doing that.. any suggestions on this will be most helpful. thanks. |
