Fedora 10 network printing problem
 
Hi geeks,

Could anyone help me solve the printing problem of Fedora 10? I have a host pc running with fedora 10 core and i need it to share with other workstation with same OS but i wasn't able to get the print output but when i check it the job is completed.
Please if anyone knows,help me..

It's best if you don't call people names, like "geeks", when you're asking for help.

And before anyone can help you, you need to define the problem a little better. Are you able to print from the workstation that has the printer attached to it? What kind of printer? Connected how?

If you get CUPS up and running on the workstation where the printer is attached, you should be able to set it up on the second workstation, and it'll 'see' the printers that are shared out.

and did you set up Cups from here
http://localhost:631/
click on the link and set up the printer.

Hello

Yes i am able to print from the workstation that has the printer attached to it..And the printer i am using is Brother MFC-7220 through usb connection..Yes i set up the printer from CUPS (http://localhost:631).Sometimes i can print from the client workstations but after few days it suddenly print something that contents OpenOffice filtering command lines..
