folks, first of i'm less than brand new to linux, in fact in the embryonic stage, so i apologize in advce if this a really futile question.
i have just downloaded fedora 10 live iso (f10-i686-Live.iso) from http://fedoraproject.org/en/get-fedora using epiphany on debian5.0. however it appears it downloaded ok but automatically extracted the iso into a folder as 5 seperate items: 3 folders, a Readme and the GPL.
can i do anything with these i.e. rebuild these to an image or do the 2 hour download again? any help much appreciated and forgivess sought for the nieveness of the question.

If you want to install ... get the install iso (dvd or cd 1 and then install other packages.
Wait for Fedora 11 (June 2)
wow thanks for such a fast response. actually the it actually it was the iso that the downloader showed that it was downloading, but extracted and auto-saved it as seperate items without a prompt. "the joy of learning" hahaha
thanks again.

Which downloader did that?
What did you do?
No GUI program can do that ... at most an iso can be mounted somewhere (but then the original iso will not just vanish ). Use kget or gwget or ktorrent (for torrents)

it was definately within the GUI. i haven't installed any downloader, i simply clicked on the download box on the fedora site from within the browser. i wasn't even aware that it was downloading until i minimized the browser window, and it showed a download box with a progress bar.
the same box appeared when i downloaded the zipped f10 users-guide. it downloaded the zip file and extracted the html files into a download folder. i found the index.html and was able to read all the guide, and all external links in the guide worked fine??
