fedora 10 instalation problem
Hi !
I am a newbie in Linux. I have got fedora 10 DVD from a seminar held here in our university. Then I decided to install it on my system. I have a older system whose configuration is as follows: processor: intel p4 1.7GHz motherboard: intel d845wn(original) RAM : 384 (256+128)MB SD RAM CDROM, floppy(not working), USB, LAN, etc etc... now I want to install fedora 10 on this system... I installed a DVD-ROM, but problem is that my motherboard doesn't support boot from DVD-ROM. Boot from CD-ROM is supported.. I have a laptop which have DVD-WR. So is there any method by which I can install fedora from network. Thnx -Pawan |
If you only has CD drive it can not read a DVD.
The CD drive is it also a CD writer ? If so download the Live CD from the Fedora website . The Live cd is also a install CD |
