FCronDaemon processe making /var full

Hi Members, I have joined this forum today only as I liked this community.

While working on disk usage issue, I found that /var filesystem is getting full due to FCronDaemon processes. After killing these processes, filesystem usage went down by 70-90 %. Can anyone help me why these processes are being generated again and again and why consuming this much of disk usage ??

/usr/sbin/sendmail -FCronDaemon -i -odi -oem -oi -t

Is there any way to stop them permanently. I check cronjobs but found nothing substantial. Also sendmail daemon is stopped on this server.

The cron daemon is by default configured to email regular and error output to the job owner.
Email sent by the cron daemon should be read and any errors should be corrected.
If no errors occur then change the jobs to send output to the bit bucket.

Hi Spawn,

Thanks for d reply. I checked the reason of mail daemons running even after stopping them and I found that one of the scrpts scheduled in the cronjob was the real culprit. I disabled the script and never found this issue again.
