FC5 .mp3 support. Need Install Help.
 

Hello to All.

I am pretty new to Linux, having just installed Fedora Core 5 on to my HP Pavillion 5310 laptop with no install problems what so ever. :). Having used Mandrake 9 for a short while in the past, I was very surprised to find out that there is no mp3 or video codecs installed. And yes, I am aware of the legal resons.

My Question(s), how do I Compile the updates and software to support these codecs? Is there an easy answer. Sorry in advance if I have repeated someone else's question.
