FC3 - Yahoo, X Window

I was wondering if there was a yahoo messenger client for linux that works on fc2. Also I've been hearing about this X window system and a package manager to make installation of programs easier. Can anyone help me on this?

Gaim is you new all-in-one messenger. you're already using a X window system if you have a GUI so no need to worry about that and I think you can get apt working on Fedora but I'm not sure cause I don't use Fedora so someone else will have to answer that Fedora already has a package manager it's just not as nifty as apt.
