fc2t2 apt-get with synaptic gui


I'm having trouble updating with apt-get and synaptic gui I'm using downloads.fedora.us repository and it downloads the packages but when it goes to install it goes through a few of them and then asks me if I want to quit, and not installing any packages. any ideas or other options I could use ?

this is what it says from command line sorry

when I launch synaptic from command line this is what i get. I don't know if this may help.

(synaptic:4485): Gtk-CRITICAL **: file gtkwidget.c: line 2041 (gtk_widget_hide): assertion `GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed
