FC 10 sound hangs
 

Hi Friends.

I am new to Fedora 10, its very smooth, but sound hangs(lag stop lag, like old cassette) sometimes, but not always.
Also mute doesnt work.

Should i re-install sound drivers, if yes how to do that?

Try uninstalling pulseaudio and see if the sound hangs. In older versions of Ubuntu and Fedora 10 I've had to remove pulse in order for my sound to work properly. The only downside to this is that pulse is basically a blanket that remedies making your sound available to multiple applications simultaneously, and so removing it may cause your sound card to sometimes become unavailable if a particular application has it tied up.

uninstalled it, and rebooted, problem still exists.
