What are some of your favourite Development Environments?
I'm looking for someting similar in functionality to Visual C++ by M$

pico! what else do you need?

well sometimes i use anjuta if i'm feeling lazy and want gtk interfaces built automatically with glade.

Anjuta, Emacs, Pico :D
Although i use Pico mainly for editing config files and anjuta for coding
I like GUI's :D

Using IDE (integrated dev. env.) is like using Windows. It makes you learn LESS. Stick with vi. :) You'll thank yourself if your future co. can't afford fancy software.
